We had a very pleasant stay at Highfield B&B in the kingsize bedded room.

Made to feel very welcome by Margaret and John when we arrived. Had a wander around their attractive garden before taking a stroll to the pub.

Selected our breakfast options before going to bed in the well equipped ensuite room, furnished to a high standard, that outclassed our other recent stays in a local pub and a hotel in Buxton.

Enjoyed a delightful breakfast next morning, including home produced eggs and bread, where we discussed leaving the car outside and the route we proposed to walk with our hosts.

On our return to the car at 5pm we took up the offer made over breakfast of a cup of tea with Margaret and John before we returned to London.

    We expect to stay again.

We would highly recommend Highfield to fellow travellers.

We were greeted by a very warm and friendly, welcome from Margaret and John who went that extra mile to make our stay a most pleasurable experience.

The house and bedrooms are beautifully decorated and presented and have lovely views of the garden and surrounding hills.

This was our second visit and intend to return.
